Why is the Pox just dripping with medieval imagery? Is it the hacking cough? It is the pustulating sores all over the body? The sores that make you slightly nauseous...? Is it the compulsion to make your children walk around ringing a bell (funky bell from the POWH, bought for me by MrB when I was bed-ridden with a twisted nerve in my back last year. He regretted thr purchase within a couple of hours) calling out "Unclean! Unclean!"...?

Miss O: Day 3 of the Pox. It can't get much worse. Can it...?

NEVER challenge 'worse', Nic.
NEVER say, 'It can't get w***e'.
I can't even bring myself to type the phrase out anymore...

Shroom: And the best one's ain't fit to be shown in polite company.

Fingers: Welcome home! See the fun we get up to when you're away? You're right though. I'm just tempting fate...

KR: It doesn't make me itchy. It leaves me with a desire to attack her with broken pottery. And cry. And throw up.

Donnie: It's only a matter of time. Those pustules are getting bigger and they're going to blow...

See Nic...all that church-going and do-gooding and there's still been a plague on your house.
Better put up the protective net before the locusts gnaw your corn down to the stalks...

PomG: I do like to think that my life is a cautionary tale for all you childless (footloose and fancy-free)ones - take your contraception seriously...

Mexie: I know! I don't believe it either. Someone has obviously cursed us.

Sonny D: I have left my response on your blog. It isn't entirely appropriate for this here G-rated blog.

Fingers: Yes. You were right. Do I need to grovel anymore...?
