The Getting of a Life
WooHoo!!!!!!
I just bought tickets. I love tickets!!!!
Tickets to see Adam Hills at the Enmore in May!
I do love a funny man, especially one who's a Shire Boy at heart. I have a soft spot for Shire Boyz... Especially ones born in 1970...
MrB and I have decided, (well I've decided, MrB just agrees with me) that 2007 is going to be the year of Going Out. To Actual Things.
This is quite liberating after almost 12 years of married life in which the predominant theme has been Not Going Out. Mainly because of small children, lack of money, lack of baby-sitters, lack of a knowledge that there was Stuff to Go To anyways...
But, we're throwing caution to the wind and booking tickets left, right and centre... So far we're going to:

But, we're throwing caution to the wind and booking tickets left, right and centre... So far we're going to:
- Augie March (yay! and not even at Yallah! At the Metro!)
- Dylan Moran
- Adam Hills
And these are things that are actually booked and paid for...
We are so committed to this Going Out thing.

Half your luck! Dylan Moran is a genius live. Second only to the wonder that is Ross Noble (who I may just have front row tickets to go see tomorrow AND next Saturday).
And there's something to loveable about Adam Hills.
i want to see Ross Noble!!! SO BAD.
*goes off to buy tickets*
and... when you come to enmore you can come and play with me!!! and we can have pre-show drinks/dinner!!!
yay!!!
and then i will go home and watch TV and you can watch the show!!!
He's great on Spicks n Specks.
I also hear he might be hosting the Logies this year - which means it might be worth watching for once.
OMel: I saw him on the abc recently and he was hilarious. And I adore Black Books. I had someone say to me the other day, 'oh yes, i thought you'd be the type to like Black Books... it's so noir.' And yes. I have wanky friends who use those terms.
I wanted to se Ross Noble too. And to prove the point I sepnt an hour talking in a Geordie accent to see if it would convince MrB that we needed tickets. It didn't. It just pissed him off. So obviously that plan backfired.
Mex: That is a plan. A cunnng plan even... I'll have my people tak to your people etc etc...
Surfer: He's fantabulous! But I heard that he definitely won't be hosting the Logies. Or doing the backstage chat things. That will be Hamish Blake. *Swoon*
I remember going out. I seem to recollect it was fun.
Hee ... and now you know where the metro is, you can go there as often as you like ...
Meva: I will let you know if it's as good as I remember - it's been so long...
LaRue: Only if there's something good on. And only if I don't immediately forget...
WOO. I have Adam Hills (also know as my TV bf - okay, along with Hamish bLake) tix!!
Woo and HOOO!
