Augie March
Aah, this is what I need... Nothing like bracing Alpine air to clear one's head. I went to a gig last night, Augie March at the Yallah 'Roadhouse' (and Shooters' Bar... WTF? It'll always be the Woolshed to me) It was so, so, so unbelievably excellent! Thanks KT80 & Sonny Downtown! I am now a Augie March convert... The support acts were Joel Plaskett (from Nova Scotia) and Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males. Joel was cool - I bought his CD, but Dan Kelly et al was a bit try-hardy for my liking. Also he reminded me too much of Corey Haim - especially in the Lost Boys - the scene in the bathtub. And I've always been more of a Feldman kinda girl.
Now a gig on a school night I can cope with - even if I had forgotten the whole 2-support-acts-band-doesn't-come-on-till-10pm thing. And twins screaming from 1:30am till 5am I can cope with. Just not on the same night. So I is tired and cranky and not going to write anymore.

Dan Kelly and the Alpha Males rock man!
they are playing purple sneakers tonight!! woo woo!
Yeah, they were OK - just having a crap night I'm guessing.
But do you get the Corey thing?
You're a felman girl, eh?
I was a Haimster fan. Especially in Licence to Drive. But I saw him somewhere recently and he had some funky wrongness happening with his tongue. Ew.
Where is that photo taken?
Top of the mountain in Innsbruck. Gorgeous hey...
That's where I want to be today!
Ooh. We're going there. MLaRue has family-types that live in Innsbruck and Graz.
There are warning signs: It is cold at the top of the mountain. I suggest you heed the warning signs. MrB didn't. Silly silly man.
