It's a beautiful day, it's a beautiful da-ay
(OK Maybe I got a little obsessed with SYTYCD)
Anyway... Tis a gorgeous morning!
Proof: Snapped from my lounge window this very morn...
And, (not only but also...)
My car's fixed!
Apparently it was the starter motor which went kerputsky, but I'm not buying it... I mean, I started the car no problemo twice in the preceding 10 minutes, and then it had got 3km down the road before it went plfft. So how it could be the starter motor I don't know... Even Dad (who is knowledgeable in the Way of the Engine) reckons it's a crock.
But, do I care? NO! Because I have my car back!
And the birds are singing, and I slept like a log because 3 of my 4 daughters spent the night at their Grandparents house, leaving us with only Miss M. So we treated her to a classay dinner. At the Bulli Workers Club (or the Shitty's to it's friends - used to be the hang for the local sewage workers...)

Please let's this good mood last!
Love the pic.
It's raining here this AM - but that makes me just as happy - as the rain God's have been a little neglectful of Canberra of late.
Bring on the wet!!!
(it will probably be dry again by lunchtime. Pffff!!)
So with one daughter still in the house, there was no museuming yesterday I'm guessing. Shame really...
Maybe they just went to the Louvre, O-Mel...
so have you sworn her to secrecy about the classay dinner??? or will she dob and the other girls get jealous and there will be a massive hair-pulling-eye-gouging-scratching bitch fight of rage?
WTF were you doing up at that hour?
Lovely morning.
Its raining here today for the first time in months and then stupid Coshie says that he hopes that the rain stops soon for the Grand Prix. Stupid stupid man doesn't realise how drought stricken we are. Is he walking around with his eyes shut!
LaRue: Indeed - let us hope...
Possum: I'm always a fan of the rain, as Ms LaRue can attest, but the sunrise this morning was so gorgeous I didn't mind the still, oppressive heat!
OMel: I take the Fifth.
Donnie: You've lost me - I haven't had enough caffeine yet.
Mex: I think the fact that the others were at Granny's cancels out the dinner. Even is she did have 3 courses! What will provoke the hair-pulling etc is the fact that Miss M is going to a PCYC disco tonight and Miss H is precisely 10 days too young to boogy on down with her...
Shrooms: It wasn't actually that early - bloody daylight saving!!!!!
OMG, how gorgeous!!! LOve that serene view there.
I love it when we have no kids here for a night or two, but then I miss them soo much I want em back sooner than later :)
Aaah! Dawn! I have read about it in books.
