Off the top of my head.

Random things... My head hurts - am now thinking it's the cumulative effect of 10 days without aircon... Office has become toxic death-trap a la ABC in Brisbane(?)

Yes, I have been reading Bridget Jones in the bath again. Shouldn't do that, as am prone to start talking in staccato syntax-less sentences. With English slang. When I start counting calories, shoot me.

This morning, while sitting on the deck drinking our coffee (in sweet, sweet serenity), gazing over the trees, and beyond to the mist-wraithed escarpment, we heard a whip bird down in the creek. They always make me think that I'm in a deep valley in the mountains, having trekked for 5 hours to come to a peaceful glade surrounded by towering gums, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves. I love whip birds.

Last night I watched Cold Case. The mall-massacrists were cute. Much cuter than the jocks. If I was still in high school I would probably fall madly in love with one or, indeed, both of them. Does this make me a Bad Person?????

I want to go bush-walking again.

I need to eat more fruit.

I have been craving fruit (and fruit juice) like a mad person lately. But only non-foody fruit. Like melons and stuff. Bananas? yech.

I love that wwwwhhhhip noise they make. Fortunately you have a deck where that noise happens - I have to trek into the depths of the rain forest.

LaRue - I've decided I only like bananas in smoothies and cake. The need to eat fruit is more in line with the detox efforts of other bloggers. It's something I need to remind myself of, because I never just do it...

KR - It's a special sound isn't it! It has such peaceful connotations for me. It's the first time I've heard it at home - the birds must have only just moved into the bush behind our house. Must have become suitably bush-y for them. I'm loving it even more now!
