I don't know why I am so damn tired. I don't know why I can't sleep, even though I fall into bed each night with an exhaustion so deep I feel sick.
It sucks.
And it's not even the end of January yet. And MrB hasn't even gone back to work yet. And school hasn't even started, and we've yet to set foot on the hurdy-gurdy rollercoaster that is our life during term time.
I have barely enough energy to drag myself into work every morning, and have no idea how I'm going to manage the daily dip into the maelstrom of Stuff.
And for some unknown reason, I've given in, and the girls are going to start the round of 'classes' this year: Ballroom dancing (for both); Drama (Miss M); Art (Miss H); Swimming (all four - but mainly Miss H as she's regressed to dog paddle because she's a lazy bum); Aussie Rules (at least that doesn't start until April!)
ARGH!!!!!!
Why do I do this to myself? Why can't I be the type of parent who just doesn't care...? (Oooh! Loaded question that one!) Buggeration. I only have myself and my stupidly high expectations of myself to blame...
And on a totally different note, the Jordster, my brother's long-suffering and incredibly gorgeous girl, has added to Redcap's list of SBG names... She's an Ambo. In Bankstown. And helped deliver (or maybe just took the hospital, can't remember) the seventh child of a 33 year old woman the other day. Seventh child. Same age as me. Seventh child to seven diferent fathers. The youngest one was called Sheyanna (I think). The baby is going to be called 'Juana'. Because the father has a step-daughter called Juana, and this woman thinks it's roooly pretty. So this bogan dad now has two daughters called Juana. Never mind...

OMG - has she not heard of birth control.
And the Juana bit just cracked me up!!!! I think Miss Larue was right in her blog in saying that if we didn't have the stupidity of others to laugh at - where oh where would we be??!!
Hope the sleep comes a little easier - I'm having loads of trouble with that also - it's a shame I can't invite others along to the picture show that is running through my head!!

Chez - ditto on the hugs! Poor Jordy - the bogans are a constant joy for her... But she does get lots of funny stories with which to regale us, so I guess it should be considered a workplace perk!
Oh dear. It's like the joke about the woman with 10 kids all called Jaiden. When she wants them to do something, she just yells, "Jaiden, come here!" and they all come. When she wants just one of the Jaidens, she uses his surname. >:)
