Isshewss...
I'm having issues today.
And you should all feel glad that I'm not inflicting my grumpiness on you in a real live way.
I'm having issues with the stupid puter and even stupiderer satellite broadband. Even BigPond would be better than Fish Internet, and that's saying something. I can see fecking Panorama House, and ipso facto I should be able to access the internet. But apparently I can't. (Using Dial-up)
I'm having issues with my elder daughters. They seem to think that their role in life is to frustrate and annoy their younger sisters. And each other. And me. I am sick and tired of hearing them scream at each other. The constant sniping and griping and name-calling is doing my head in.
I'm having issues with Howard (now there's a surprise!). He has a chance to show some actual leadership, to deal with this water crisis, to do something. And he does precisely zip. And then makes a crass and undignified yet cringingly arrogant joke.
It ain't going to rain... well it is here, on the coast, the sky is darkening again... but it ain't going to rain out West. We have to do something.
Although... I'm feeling so bloated and water-retaining that I may be the reason for the 1-in-1000 year drought. Just call me Cubbie...
It's an issue-ful day, and now I have to drive round Wollongong, doing numerous errands and it's just going to turn out to be a stressful day too.
Bugger.

B - isn't it the role of any sibling to annoy and frustrate all other siblings within the family? Parents are collateral damage. Tis just the way ...
Tis sad.
LaRue - when you are a child (or an adult with said siblings) then yes, this is the way it is, and has been since time immemorable.
When you're the parent it's the pits. And how I feel for my mother...
Divide and conquer, AB!
And then start to remove privileges - TV, treats, bed linen. Record question time and threaten to make them watch John Howard. Go easy on that last one though... more than 15 minutes a day, and you could have DOCS around.
My brother and I still think it is our role in life to frustrate and annoy each other. And then we join forces and frustrate and annoy my father. It's such fun.
Except for mum, of course. Poor old mum, stuck in the middle...
Donnie - Question Time! Brilliant. You're a dead-set genius. And you know I'll do it too...
OMel - The thing is, we still do it to my parents... when my sister and I get together we totally regress until we're teenagers bitching at each other constantly. Mum even does the 'Girls! Stop it!' thing at us. While I'm saying it to my girls.
