Google is my friend...

Ha!

Some poor person in Wahroonga, obviously newly returned from The Archies, and feeling righteously indignant, googled the words

wynne sulman too rude

and ended up at C&C.

[Beacsue I concur. Absolutely. Wynne Sulman is very very rude indeed and should be spanked immediately!]

And then spent a fair number of precious minutes and bandwidth perusing the pages of utter tripe what I write.

Prudes of Sydney Unite!!!!!

Sure beats the constant referrals for 'Lisa Oldfield' that I've been getting recently...

Worst part is, AB, it was probably that prudish woman's 13 year old sun, who was trying to find a photo of the offending portrait, and he wasted precious minutes of his self-abuse time, scanning your blog unsuccessfuly...

OMG! You're so right... The mother came home ranting about the picture and the fellatio, and straight away he's googling for all he's worth.

Poor poor boy.

LG: The Archibald, Wynne and Sulman are prizes for art (portrait, landscape and 'subject' respectively). It's quite a Big Thing in Sydney. This year one of the finalists in the Sulman Prize, Andrew Frost's Pornography of Hope, had a quite graphic depiction of a woman with a penis in her mouth. I mentioned in my post that my 9 year old daughter had noticed it first, and I had attempted to distract her. Unsuccessfully. And so then she was quite happy to witter endlessly about the 'rude picture'. Obviously someone else took umbrage as well!
