Update
Okay...
My CT scan came back 'normal'. You are allowed to snigger and make mildy snarky comments to people in your immediate vicinity.
(This is a Good Thing, obvs. Firstly because, well, I don't have a tumour. Secondly because it means I don't have Arnold Schwarzenegger in my head saying 'tumer'. Constantly.)
I now have a house to clean, and twins to shout at, even after they've told me rather stridently not to. Toilet training is turning my life into a virtual Pit of Despair.
That is all...

Luckily, the quote is "It's not a Two-muh".
I'd say something like "congratulations", but I'm not sure having a party for a medical diagnosis is right. Esp. when it now means you have no reason for your brain pain.
Look on the bright side. Maybe they got the CT scan results wrong...
I know how it sounds, I was just having trouble expressing it...
And the congrats is for having a normal brain. I'd much rather vague (though unrelenting) brain pain that a bloody huge tumour...
Yay for not a twomuh!(Thanks Mountjoy.)
Do they think Cluster migranes are the diagnosis? I dated a guy with those and he helped his with diet, exercise and no stress. How fun, hmm? Oh, and drugs when required.
Diet, exercise and no stress? Oh to live such a blissful existence! Cluster migraines is the last diagnosis and the one I'll stick with. Until next time...
Whew! That's a big relief.
Its not a Two-mah! And AB has a brain. Much joy and laughter abound.
Yay for your healthy brain.
Toilet training is doing my head in too, not least coz this trainee is male....
yay for your head being 'normal'!! although WE all know thats far from the truth.
i just had my first ever boob test from a GP and apparently im "ok".
oh mex, I am happy to hear that!
Mizanthrop, toilet-training is the part of child-rearing that I detest the mostest. And that includes giving birth. And with the twins it's everything I feared it would be.
KR - there is much joy. not so much laughter at this precise moment in time, but I'm sure it's coming...
Virtual pit of despair. Hahahaha! Took me all day to get that!
I do love you actonb!
Actonb that is ace news.
ACE news.
Fantastic news on the brain, hooray.
I would like to make helpful suggestions on the toilet training but I have absolutely no idea where to even start (and I don't have any daughters).
I hope there is less pain/despair in your life soon.
You are normal! Great news, pet. xxx
good for the brain business.
bad for toilet training twins... who's idea was that, anyway?
Good news on the 'normal' brain diagnosis.
Hope the nasty meee-graines will go away soon - and just stop bothering you.
Poss. xx
Also,
I found that my experience re toilet training was less "virtual" pit of despair and more "actual" pit of despair.
But as my grandfather said,
"they won't be walking down the aisle wearing nappies with a dummy in their mouth, so don't worry too much about it".
This was certainly true of my mum, but I'm not so sure about my uncle....
Why not let the twins run around outside and let nature take its course?
if you were always shouting at me I wouldn't use the potty either.
I just reckon the 4 girls are enought to cause a headache.
W - You know me - I'm obsessed!
GW - I'm pretty happy - about the brain obvs. Less so about the damn toilet training. It is an Actual Pit right now. And I am being tormented by 2 small be-warted albinos who refuse to co-operate. But your grandfather's advice is good - it will happen. But only after a great deal of angst. And laundry.
pom - ta muchly! I'm feeling the love in the room today!
mars - I think the toilet-training idea falls under 'social norms'. The twins' bit is just me making my life difficult. I do enjoy a challenge.
possum - Hey there stranger! Hope you're feeling well yourself...
shrooms - I need 'nature' to take it's course IN THE BLOODY TOILET.
lies - that doesn't surprise me at all. You've always had an aversion to my authority...
