Weekend Wrap-up! or How much superfunness can one girl handle...?
* Friday night, had drinks with some lovely people. Well they had 'drinks'. I had water. And an hour's drive home. Non-virtual hugs all round. And the alarming prospect of Life Coaching from a man still chewing on cotton wool following his ordeal in a dentist's chair.
* Saturday morning, a tense and free-wheeling football game, some beautiful examples of AFL skills, amazing tackling, masterful kicks, gravity-defying marks. Nail-biting finish reminiscent of the recent Swans v Weagles game. Pity the Northern Tigers lost their semi-final to the Shellharbour Swans by 1 measly point. Miss M was stoic, some of her (male) teammates were less so, sobbing their broken little hearts out. MrB and I were positive that the Swans were fielding some U-10s... Bastards!
* Inigo added another 2 rabbits to our growing collection. Damn! He's good...
(Oh, Mex, Vomit died a couple of days after his rescue. Miss M was devasted that I put him in the bin rather than conducting an hour-long funeral service)
* The Bulli Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really is that exciting. Well kinda sorta. I love the Show, it embodies everything that I love about my town. It's just like the Easter Show, except well, much much smaller.
They have woodchopping! They have Pony Trials! They have alpacas and a petting farm and crocodiles! Woodturning, blacksmithing, sheep shearing... And an old-fashioned dining room with the most gorgeous fluffy devonshire teas. And prizes for cake decorating and crocheting! And prizes for the best carrot in Bulli!
I love the Show! It's a real traditional, community-based, country show. And it was packed!
And now I can't wait to see who is the Bulli Show Girl for 2006... Or who won the Battle of the Bands... Well I probably can, but you can see what I'm getting at here.
* Dr Who. Nothing else needs to be said.
* Can't for the life of me remember what I did yesterday... except that I managed to sit through Essex's execution. I didn't flick or hide my head this time. Ewwwwwww.

RIP Vomit... i hardly knew ye.
The new ones are called Arwen and Nellie (because it's probably female, but could be male and it's bits haven't dropped yet)
Hee. Sounds like a very good weekend :)
And it was lovely to see you....
Vomit was the real deal, afraid of nought....he'll be sadly missed...RIP
So was there any goss from the drinks on Friday you would like to share with non-attendees??
Vomit has been reincarnated. Well kinda.
Rabbit Count now stands at 5. New grey one this morning. New white one last night. Inigo is a freak!
Omel - if there was any gossip I would be the last one to hear of it. Mainly because I had one lousy glass of wine before switching to water, and making a low-key exit at 9:30.
Tis a bummer being a conchy mum sometimes...
Omel, lets just say i saw fingers do something with a bank note that left it all sticky afterwards......
He dropped it in beer?
I saw Mushroom do something with a banknote that left it covered in fine, white powder...
it was my friggen note!
I can't remember... Did you end up retrieving said note, or did you donate it to the 'fingers' dental relief fund'?
I obviously missed a good night out. Some friends. I know W organised to go away two days after the MotoGP just to spite me!
